Charlie is a Research Software Engineer in the Department of Surgical and Interventional Engineering at King’s College London (KCL). After completing an MSci in Physics at University of Birmingham in 2018, he worked outside of academia as a research engineer in the fields of surgical simulation and surgical robotics with an emphasis on software development, physics simulation, and computer vision. He joined KCL as a Research Fellow in 2020 to assist research into automated endoscope manipulation for laproscopic surgery.
