Theo is a PhD student with the Smart Medical Imaging CDT, supervised by Prof. Tom Vercauteren (King’s College London) and Dr. Ben Glocker (Imperial College London). His research focuses on active and continual learning strategies for deep learning assisted interactive segmentation of medical images, with Vestibular Schwannoma segmentation as a motivating application. Theo is working closely with industry partner COSMONiO (now acquired by Intel) to develop tools for their interactive deep learning platform NOUS AI.
Theo has worked as an NHS Clinical Scientist in MRI Physics at the Royal Marsden Hospital, as part of a research team investigating the use of machine learning for the diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma from whole body MRI scans. Theo has an MSc from King’s College London in Medical Physics and an MEng in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London.
