Tianrui Zhao is a PhD student in the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences at King’s College London, supervised by Dr. Wenfeng Xia and Prof. Tom Vercauteren. His research aims to develop a minimally invasive endoscope based on a single optical fibre with photoacoustic and fluorescence imaging modalities. He received his B.Sc. from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, and M.Sc. degree from University College London, UK, in 2015 and 2016, respectively. His research interests include photoacoustic imaging, ultrasound sensors, wavefront shaping and fibre optics.
