Yanghe is a current MRes/PhD student within the 1+3 EPSRC CDT in Advanced Engineering in Personalised Surgery & Intervention. His research project centers on Vision-Based Surgical Robot Arm Docking Assistance for Optimal Spatial Configuration and is supervised by Prof. Tom Vercauteren and Prof. Christos Bergeles. Yanghe graduated from Imperial College London in 2024, completing the MSc Advanced Mechanical Engineering degree. In his master’s thesis, he implemented a novel machine-learning approach to integrating hybrid Transformer in aero blade vibration monitoring which enables his interests in applying Machine Learning techniques in solving real-world problems and transforming the skills to healthcare field.
