Muhammad is a Research Fellow in the Department of Surgical and Interventional Engineering at King’s College London (KCL).

Prior to joining KCL, he was a Senior Research Engineer II at Imagination Technologies, UK. He worked there as part of the Vision and AI research group looking at designing, training, deploying and optimising neural networks for Imagination’s Neural Network Accelerator products.

In 2017, Muhammad received his PhD in Machine Learning (Computer Science) from City, University of London, UK. His PhD research contributed novel probabilistic regression methods to learn hand pose and orientation using uncalibrated colour images. At City, he also worked in close collaboration with colleagues on a range of medical imaging problems.
